So I had this little plot bunny floating around my head for the past couple of days. It's basically my "imagined" scene from the upcoming episode.

I haven't updated here in forever, so I thought I'd sort my current thoughts for today.

1) Weird Dreams

I'm still trying to figure this one out.  Last night, I dreamed that I was driving around standard/manual in a car.  It was weird, yet strangely exhilierating.  My only guess is a current airing of the "Chasing Zoey" movie, but even then, I watched that last weekend.  I don't think I would still be thinking about it.  I could grab the metaphorical idea of "shifting gears," but I'm happy with my job.  I've been frustrated due to errors I'm currently making, but it's been happening to everybody.   So I'm not alone. 

2) Apologies

So, this mainly goes out to thebucketwoman.  I still haven't finished "Defining Conventional."  I've made some progress on the chapter, but I keep hitting roadblocks.  Maybe it will help when I FINALLY get internet on my laptop. 

3) Annoyance

Let's start out with the internet.  I spent over 2 hours earlier this week talking to a support technician about my lack of internet.  Apparently, over the past 3 months, my account has been stuck at my old apartment.  While billing has my current address, everybody else doesn't.  So they finally get it turned on 2 days ago.  Minor hitch though .... I need to find my installation CD.  I re-ordered it when I gave up looking. 

My other bit of annoyance is the Disney Channel LiveJournal community.  I've already had problems with an LWD post not being accepted.  Now, I'm growing annoyed with the rude responses on my Adam Lamberg post.  I posted this new picture of him:



Does this picture really warrant an "Ew!  He used to be cuter!" response.  I even got a "I think I just threw up a little ..."  If they don't care for the guy, then why are they posting these responses?  I don't post rude comments on threads.  But I guess I actually have some class, unlike some of these posters.  It just bugs me.

I'm starting to side with people who say the community is just like ONTD.  Now, I'm not saying Adam looks amazing here, but I think he looks rather good considering some unfortunate pictures he had in the past.  I agree with one post that says "He looks normal."  I'm guessing that everybody at DC LJ thinks these stars should walk around like they just spent 3 hours making themselves looking flawless.  I like flaws. 

Of course, this is why I don't post clips of Mike from "She Drives Me Crazy" on DC LJ.  He'd be slaughtered there.  Poor Jordan has in a Season 3 promo shot.

So, I FINALLY saw the American edit of "The Wild and the Innocent" today when I was at my grandmother's house.  I was surprised to see it, since the schedule is so screwy on the CW.

If I had never seen the unedited version, I don't think I would have caught many awkward moments.  But having prior knowledge, the episode seemed really choppy on Owen's sections.

Also, I should finish "Defining Conventional" sometime within the next couple of weeks!  I pieced together the Sheldon/Emily scene while driving home last weekend and ... I think it flows quite well.  I thought it showed a lot of wisdom on Sheldon's part ... and well, I just liked how he approached it.  (This message should really make thebucketwoman happy, because I feel like I've strung her along during this lengthy hiatus.)

I typically don't do surveys, but this one seemed too fun to pass up.

Here's a two-shot that I'm currently working on.  It's from Emily's point of view, and I have to say I'm a little mean to her in this one.  But I included some Shemily, so hopefully I'll redeem her in the end.

So, i guess I should update you guys on my life right now.

After my "burnt out" session, I ended up withdrawing from this semester. So now you're looking at a working graphic designer! Things just fell in to place. I went around checking out graphic design firms, and the firm I interned at last summer had an opening. While it's not the best pay, it's not bad for starting out. I'm learning a lot about the production of signs and banners, and getting lots of practice in photo restorations/manipulations.

I'm also dealing with the current rollercoaster of my grandmother's failing health. She's had two heart attacks this past month, and is about to go into hospice. We thought this weekend might be her last, but the doctors say she might have 6 months left. At this time, they've diagnosed her with gallbladder cancer. She at least seems to be in good spirits though.

But onto my escapism. This is for Steph (jannikajade). Has anybody seen this Fefe Dobson video?



It features Drake Bell!  He plays the role of the "forbidden boyfriend," I guess.

But, do you know who is rumored to be Fefe's new boyfriend?  None other than Michael Seater.  Seriously, what is this girl doing to attract these cute boys?

The last time we saw Jason McCartle, he was trying to get him and his brother away from their drug-dealing, crystal meth-smoking mother. However, she finds them and has the nerve to slap Jason whenever he reveals her drug secret.

So where does this leave Jason and his brother Kevin?

Hopefully, mseaterfan will upload Mike's clips from this movie soon. In the meantime, I decided to make a picspam over Mike's role, because it's just so good. Mike's terrific with dramatic roles.

While reading my assignment for World Studies, I took a break and tried my hand at writing fanfiction. The idea was floating in my head last night, and I thought I'd actually attempt it.
